Schrock Innovations Usage, Privacy, and Return Policy

Schrock Innovations is a company built on solid, Midwestern values. Those same values dictate how we treat our customers and what we do with the information we collect through day-to-day business transactions.

Your use of this website indicates that you agree to the contents of this privacy policy, our data collection policy and our return policy.

For the purposes of this policy, the word “website” shall be defined as any email, SMS message or push notification from a Schrock owned domain, server or app originating from any Schrock-owned web server that can be accessed by entering the URL www.schrockinnovations.com or any other URL that redirects to www.schrockinnovations.com, its various sub domains or associated Schrock-owned websites such as:  driveadviser.com, secureupdater.com, datarecoverytechnicians.com, omahacomputerrepair.biz, or other domains as they are created.

This website may contain information designed to assist a user in troubleshooting or repairing a computer-related problem. Any information provided on this website is provided as-is, without any warranty expressed or implied. Users of this site understand that any such information provided on this website is employed at the user’s sole risk. Schrock Innovations, Inc. cannot be held responsible for any damages, loss of productivity, or loss of revenue, that results from the use of information provided on this website.

By your continued use of this website, you agree not to hold Schrock Innovations, Inc., nor its owners, shareholders, employees, or management responsible for any damages that may result from the unauthorized access of your personal or sensitive information by any non-authorized party who retrieves such information through unauthorized means.

Limitation of Liability:

Customers, clients, and patrons of Schrock Innovations, Schrock Interactive or any other division of Schrock Innovations, Inc. shall not under any circumstances hold any Schrock Innovations, Inc. employee, owner, shareholder or manager responsible for any loss associated with work performed by Schrock Innovations, Inc.

By engaging in a service relationship with Schrock Innovations, Inc. all customers and clients understand that there is inherent risk associated with repairing, maintaining, upgrading, or creating technology solutions.  These solutions can be hardware-based, software-based, customized through programming applications, or unique to the individual customer or client.

By engaging in a service relationship with Schrock Innovations, Inc. all customers and clients knowingly and willingly accept all risks associated with services performed by Schrock Innovations, Inc. including but not limited to hardware damage, software damage or license loss, data loss, security breech by a third party of Schrock systems or client and/or customer systems, loss of income, loss of opportunity, loss of data or other similarly negative outcome. Items abandoned for more than 30 days will be recycled and no remuneration will be made for lost data, equipment or loss of use.

Schrock Innovations, Inc. liability for any situation shall be solely limited to the amount of money the customer paid to Schrock Innovations, Inc. for the services performed on a specific invoice or in a specific 30-day period preceding the date of the situation.  By engaging in a service relationship with Schrock Innovations customers and clients understand that this liability limitation and agree to be bound within its constraints.

Privacy Policy:

Schrock Innovations, Inc. collects information about your technology environment in order to provide products or services.  Much of this information will be personally identifiable in our systems.  Schrock will not sell any personal information gathered online, digitally, over the telephone, or in person, to any third party.

From time to time, Schrock Innovations, Inc. may use information that you provide online, over the telephone, or in person, to contact you with important announcements via postal mail, SMS, telephone, push notification and email.  Some of these announcements may involve the promotion of products and services.

If you provide Schrock Innovations with your email address you are opting-in for email announcements, alerts, and promotional messages.  All electronic communications via email will have a link you can use to opt-out of email messages.

Schrock Innovations will not sell your personal contact information to any third-party.

Return Policy:

Schrock Innovations always works to have the happiest possible customers. In some cases we understand that a customer may wish to return a product or dispute the successful resolution of a technology problem.  Any instance where a customer would like a full or partial refund or exchange from Schrock Innovations shall be governed by the following rules:

1. All labor sales are final. A labor sale is classified as any service that is delivered to a customer that is not a physical or digital product. No refund or exchanges are available on any labor-based service. All computer repairs are covered by a 30-day repair warranty during which time Schrock Innovations will continue to work on any issue until it is resolved.
2. Hardware purchases may be returned or exchanged within 30 calendar days.  Hardware purchases may be returned or exchanged within 30 calendar days of their original purchase from Schrock Innovations. All items must have their original box, packaging, and be in like-new condition as determined by a Schrock Innovations technician. All hardware returns within the 30-day period are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
3. No Returns on Opened or Special Order Software.  All software purchases are final and can not be returned under any circumstances once they have been opened.  If software was ordered specifically for a customer (including operating systems) they can not be returned under any circumstances.
4. Pre-Paid Service Sales are Final.  Some products such as annual software subscriptions, secure socket certificates, corporate service agreements (CSA), and other similarly configured products.  Refunds of any form are not available on these products once they are pre-paid.
5. Contracted Hardware Sales are Final.  Some hardware products sold by Schrock are sold under a contract with a specific term and payment structure.  Once entered into, these contracts are non-cancellable in accordance with their respective agreements.
6. Schrock Innovations Reserves the Right to Refuse Service.  Schrock is a customer service company and we will always do everyth9ing we can to deliver award-winning service to our customers.  In some extremely rare cases Schrock may elect to refuse service to an individual, family or company if delivering that service may result in harm to our employees or other customers. In such cases Schrock reserves the right to refuse service.  Our standard refund policies will apply to these situations.

Customer Software and Coding Services.  Under no circumstances are refunds available for custom-coding services, website design and development, search engine optimization services, or other similarly structured services.  These services are delivered by consuming Schrock’s labor which can not be reclaimed and therefore can not be refunded.  All such clients and customers understand that there is risk involved in custom coding and software development services and that additional expense, ongoing maintenance after initial release, or loss of functionality at any time for any reason are possible and eventually likely outcomes over time.
